2024 SF Fall Show’s Opening Night Gala Was in Glorious Black and White

The opening gala of the 2024 San Francisco Fall Show kicked off the four-day antiques and design show on October 16, at Fort Mason Center for Arts and Culture’s Festival Pavilion. This year 1800 guests assembled for one of the most anticipated and glamorous events of the social calendar, featuring exceptional art and antiques in a breathtaking setting on the San Francisco Bay.

The event theme celebrated the timeless appeal and elegant contrast of Black & White in the worlds of decorative arts, fashion, photography, fine art and beyond. Many of the gala attendees donned black and white attire, inspired by the timeless tuxedo, the cinematic glamor of old Hollywood–and of course, Truman Capote’s legendary Black & White ball. The gala’s attendees included Honorary Co-Chairs Aerin Lauder, Founder and Creative Director of AERIN, and Wes Gordon, Creative Director of Carolina Herrera. Other VIPs on the list were show benefactors Yurie and Carl Pascarella, Diane Wilsey and Show Chair Suzanne Tucker.

A portion of the gala’s proceeds will benefit the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, continuing an ongoing partnership. Fall Show Chair Suzanne Tucker said, “I am delighted the show gala supports our beloved museums and honored to be working with the extraordinary FAMSF team.”
