To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation Steps Out in Style with “New York, New York” Fundraiser and Fashion Show

To Celebrate Life (TCL) Breast Cancer Foundation hosted its annual Stepping Out Gala on September 28 at the Marin Center Exhibit Hall. The event benefited the Foundation’s Bay Area Breast Cancer Grants Program.

Guests were treated to an unforgettable evening of fine dining, inspirational stories, fashion and dancing, plus outstanding live and silent auctions. The fabulous and muti-faceted night showed why the gala is one of Marin County’s most anticipated nonprofit events of the year. The highlight of the evening was an inspirational fashion show featuring 29 volunteer models thriving after breast cancer, who walked the runway in support of a cause close to their hearts.

The Foundation’s Bay Area Breast Cancer Grants Program grants funds to nonprofit organizations in the 9-county San Francisco Bay Area that provide support to breast cancer patients. Over 10,000 services are provided annually, with emphasis on targeting underserved communities and families. Programs funded include emergency and financial assistance, direct and navigational services, diagnostic testing and support groups. Patients are supported through all phases of their breast cancer journey from diagnosis to treatment and healing.

The night was in many ways a family affair, with TCL’s longtime sponsors and supporters showing up in force. The VIPs on hand included founder Janice Still, Jeanne Capurro, Lisa and Greg Lucero, Dr. Roger and Mary Greenberg, Kristen Bennett, Yvonne Robinson and Drs. Francine Halberg, Cynthia Goodman and Natalya Lvoff, all offering their continued support.
