The Exploratorium’s PHENOMENA(L) BALL 2024

The Exploratorium’s largest fundraising event of the year, Phenomena(l) Ball, took place on Friday, May 3, 2024.

The event was a sensory celebration, starting with a raucous, live musical performance by brass band Mission Delirium, who welcomed guests upon arrival. Guests were then invited to explore the interactive exhibits on the museum floor during a cocktail reception that featured whimsical fare and fantastical cocktails created by McCalls Catering and Events.

Dinner was held in a gallery transformed to invoke an evening under the night sky, with Luke Jerram’s Museum of the Moon providing the perfect backdrop. The glitzy, glamorous after-party, Science of Cocktails, provided music, dancing, science demonstrations, cabaret shows, and specialty cocktails. Including a paddle-raise highlighting the Exploratorium’s popular Field Trip program, the event raised over $1M for the museum.
