On May 4, 2023, Enterprise for Youth held its sixth annual Heroes at Work dinner event to celebrate a thriving future workforce and the impact its paid internship program has on young people in the San Francisco Bay Area. The evening was full of warmth, community, and support. Three youth speakers took the stage to share how Enterprise for Youth can, and does, build confidence, develop leaders, create community, nurture hope, and lead to self-discovery and exploration of career pathways. Nearly two hundred guests were inspired and moved to learn how Enterprise supported youth during the dark days of the pandemic and hardships faced as first-generation youth.
