On April 10, the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (the “Fine Arts Museums”) welcomed supporters and local VIPs to the de Young for its 2025 Annual Gala and famed after-party, Late Night. This year’s party included cocktails, dinner and full access to the de Young museum’s permanent collection and special exhibitions. As part of the proceedings, two special guests were honored for their contributions to the arts: filmmaker and installation artist Isaac Julien and Dagmar Dolby, a philanthropist and former Fine Arts Museums Trustee.
The gala dinner was a multi-course feast from McCall’s Catering with wines supplied by Bryant Imports and Hertelendy Vineyards. After dinner concluded, the Gala welcomed a whole new batch of revelers for Late Night, bringing the total attendees to nearly 1,500 supporters who came for the art and stayed for the party. When they weren’t dancing to headliner Ravyn Lenae or refreshing themselves at the The Caviar Co. lounge, guests explored the de Young’s many galleries and remembered why the Fine Arts Museums Annual Gala is one of the most exciting events of the year.
