On March 22, the Lycée Français de San Francisco hosted its 28th annual auction and gala,The Surrealist Ball, at Cityview at the Metreon in San Francisco. The event raised nearly a million dollars, a portion of which will be dedicated to developing a locally-sourced cantine for students. The gala featured surrealist-themed décor, an extraordinary dinner prepared by celebrity chef and Lycée parent Daniel de La Falaise and a live auction featuring unique items and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
Distinguished guests, including the Consul General of France, joined the Lycée to support the school and its commitment to excellence and global citizenship. The soiree’s vibrant atmosphere and artistic decor made the evening unforgettable. The Lycée’s auction-gala was inaugurated 28 years ago, and has since become a cherished tradition for the Lycée and the wider community.
