Neiman Marcus Hosts Lantern Festival Afternoon Tea for Lunar New Year

On February 13, Neiman Marcus welcomed some of its most exclusive guests to enjoy a lavish spread of teatime delicacies to usher in the Year of the Snake. The Lunar New Year Afternoon Tea, hosted by Neiman Marcus San Francisco VP Lin Huber and Chef Erik Harrelson, was a beautifully curated event held in the private dining room of the iconic Rotunda. Attendees also enjoyed an exclusive Spring fashion preview showcased in a live show.

The tea featured a special menu, which included an array of fine teas such as jasmine green tea, Eastern Beauty black tea and chrysanthemum. The select teas were paired with savory bites like fresh spring rolls with duck, sesame noodles and caviar tartlets. The afternoon ended on a sweet note, with diners offered an array of desserts including red velvet cake, a Mandarin citrus baskets, Nian Gao rice cake and lemon-coconut kouign-amann. The unique event, celebrating food and fashion, helped guests create special memories for a prosperous New Year.
