Hearts in SF Gala Celebrates the City Heroes at the Conservatory at One Sansome

The San Francisco General Hospital Foundation (Foundation) hosted its Hearts in SF benefit on February 6. Each year the Foundation throws a party celebrating the city and the world-class public hospital that’s keeping it healthy: Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center. This year’s event featured an awards program honoring some of San Francisco’s greatest champions, including former Mayor Willie Brown, who received a Lifetime Achievement Award. The GLIDE Foundation was recognized with the Community Impact Award, for taking the lead in addressing some of the city’s most pressing social issues.  

In addition to the honorees, VIPs who turned out for the party included Mayor Daniel Lurie and philanthropist Dagmar Dolby. Dressed in their Valentine’s Day best, guests first enjoyed a cocktail hour featuring musical guest Carlos Reyes, followed by the awards ceremony and supper. The exciting live auction led into the Hearts After Dark afterparty showcasing DJ Umami, the SF Giants’ resident DJ. As part of the Foundation’s annual Hearts in San Francisco public art project, the 2025 Hearts in San Francisco series features 22 Heart sculptures in total, which are on display for auction. Funds raised will benefit patient care at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center.
