On October 24, St. Anthony Foundation hosted its 3rd annual Leading the Way Awards Gala at the beautiful Terra Gallery in San Francisco’s SOMA neighborhood. The elegant event recognized community leaders who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to advancing health equity, supporting families in crisis and helping individuals break the cycle of poverty and addiction.
Over 300 supporters came out to benefit St. Anthony’s essential services and pathways to stability, enjoying a delicious spread of local cuisine and cocktails. The night’s program featured guest testimonials, and a celebration of the evening’s honorees and the collective impact they’ve made on the San Francisco community. VIPs in attendance included San Francisco Supervisor Rafael Mandelman, KTVU’s Heather Holmes, and honorees Dr. Sang-ick Chang and Tim Morrison of Stanford Medicine, Zachary Barulich of BiRite Foodservice Distributors, founder of De Marillac Academy Dr. Suzanne Giraudo, and emeritus board president Tim Dunn. Funds raised by the Leading the Way Awards ceremony will support St. Anthony’s mission to feed, heal, shelter, clothe, and lift the spirits of those in need, creating a society in which all persons flourish.
