California Academy of Sciences Hosts 2000 Ghouls and Goblins at SuperNatural Halloween

The SuperNatural Halloween celebration was back at The California Academy of Sciences on October 26, where over 2000 guests donned their costumes and had a ghostly good time trick-or-treating through the world’s only aquarium-planetarium-natural history museum at night.

Among the creepy-crawly decorations and live animal displays, the lucky party guests also got to enjoy a number of one-night-only attractions, including a silent disco in the Steinhart Aquarium, craft stations and video games at the Teen Lounge. The event raised over $300,000 to support the Academy’s mission to regenerate the natural world through science, learning, and collaboration.

With its creepy-crawly animals and spine-tingling scientific specimens, SuperNatural is the Academy’s annual Halloween fundraiser and was co-chaired by Alex Carlson, Maggie Danielson, Jess Goldman Foung, Talia Kennedy, and Chelsea Maughan Kohler. Together, they helped this year’s event become a spooky success!
