Pierce’s Pledge is excited to announce the return of its annual FUNraiser, hosted this year at the iconic Saint Joseph’s Art Society in San Francisco on September 19. The gala’s theme, Sneaker Chic, saw guests arrive in their coolest kicks to enjoy an exciting evening of food, fun and music. Saint Joseph’s was transformed by a vibrant light display and a series of interactive theme rooms for guests to explore throughout the night.
Attendees experienced a memorable evening of immersive experiences, including delectable curated cocktails and food provided by the legendary A16 team, multiple rooms featuring surprises and entertainment and an epic auction that saw guests bidding on one-of-a-kind fashion, design and art pieces.
Notable attendees that night included Futures Without Violence Founder Esta Soler, artist and activist Halim Flowers, Pierce’s Pledge Founder Lesley Hu, Elisa Donovan, Cody Dougherty and committee chair Nika Robani-Shirani. The group came together in support of the organization’s critical mission to keep children safe during custody meditations by facilitating gun storage outside the home. According to event organizers, 90% of the funds raised by the Sneaker Chic FUNraiser will go directly to programs that actively prevent gun violence. It was an evening filled with love, laughter and action, to advance Pierce’s Pledge and its message of safety and hope.
