Palo Alto Welcomes Reproductive Freedom for All’s Annual Luncheon

Reproductive Freedom for All, formerly NARAL, hosted their 24th-annual Reproductive Freedom Luncheon on October 10th at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Palo Alto. The perfect Bay Area autumn day saw freedom lovers turn out in force, with over 350 guests and advocates convening to show their support at this critical time in US politics.

With choice on the ballot across the country, local luminaries and national advocates showed up to make their voices heard. Zack Hyatt, Susan Hyatt and Shannon Hunt-Scott were in the audience that afternoon, alongside California Assemblymember Marc Berman. Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju provided keynote remarks, then went on to moderate a fascinating panel featuring commentator and podcaster Danielle Moodie, and FEMINIST digital platform co-founders Aisha Becker-Burrowes and Ky Polanco.

The event raised more than $1.4 million in support of Reproductive Freedom for All’s mission to ensure everyone has the freedom to decide if, when and how to start or grow their family.  Among its many initiatives, Reproductive Freedom for All organizes and mobilizes its 4 million members nationwide to fight for access to abortion, birth control, paid parental leave and protections from pregnancy discrimination.
