The annual Collective Napa Valley Auction Weekend, held May 31 to June 1, demonstrated the Napa Valley wine industry’s commitment to making a positive difference in its community.
Bids on wine and experiences flowed in nationwide, totaling $4.8 million. The auction weekend raised funds for youth mental health programs and showcased spectacular hospitality, delicious food, and extraordinary wines from acclaimed winemakers.
The annual barrel auction, a highlight of the weekend, commenced at HALL Winery on Friday. Over 1,600 guests were treated to the unique experience of getting the first taste of small-production barrel samples from 80 Napa Valley wineries. They also savored signature dishes prepared by Napa Valley’s top chefs, a true testament to the region’s culinary excellence.
Following the barrel auction, winery partners, including St. Supéry Estate Vineyards & Winery, Chappellet Vineyard, Diamond Creek Vineyards, Favia, J.H. Wheeler, Kenzo Estate, Opus One, Pulido~Walker Estate Vineyard and Winery, and Robert Mondavi Winery hosted intimate winemaker dinners with exclusive wines, incredible meals, and unmatched hospitality.
On Saturday, the live auction at Far Niente Winery provided nearly 400 guests with an unforgettable Napa Valley evening. An exquisite dinner prepared by Michelin-starred chef Tessier from PRESS restaurant in St. Helena, California was just the start of the incredible evening.
As the sun set, guests moved from dinner to the sprawling lawn under a canopy of oak trees for the live auction. Lots included exclusive trips to Napa Valley and destinations around the world as well as rare vintages and special wines.
