Festival Napa Valley Hosts Grand Cru Classics and a Patron Dinner at ONEHOPE Winery

July 13 was a big night at Festival Napa Valley, with the arts festival spotlighting some of the finest musical talent in the world, and also throwing an exclusive party for its biggest boosters.

At the Grand Cru Classics concert presented by Festival Napa Valley’s Olivia Decker Power of Music Series, conductor Filippo Ciabatti led Festival Orchestra Napa in a lively concert featuring two classical superstars. Ray Chen, hailed as one of the finest violinists of his generation, performed Mendelssohn’s masterful Violin Concerto. Also on the program was a dynamic performance by Jean-Yves Thibaudet of George Gershwin’s American classic, Rhapsody in Blue.

Meanwhile, at ONEHOPE Winery, the Festival rolled out the red carpet for its supporters with a lavish patron dinner. The winery’s hillside setting, landscaped grounds and limitless views provided the spectacular setting for an unforgettable meal prepared by Componere, including a special canapé featuring The Caviar Co. and the finest wines from the ONEHOPE collection.

Guests gathered in the modern elegance of the Howard Backen-designed winery to dine on spectacular seasonal cuisine, and celebrate another year of bringing world-class artistic events to the region.
