Fashion-forward boutique owner Sherri McMullen put her shop’s latest offerings on display for a good cause. On June 13, McMullen partnered with 181 Fremont Residences and the V Foundation for Cancer Research, to create a fashion and wine pop-up for a select group of shoppers. Along with the latest designs from McMullen’s boutique, guests sipped wine from Napa’s Hoopes Vineyards–a small taste of what will be offered at the V Foundation’s Wine Celebration in Yountville August 1-4.
Local luminaries on hand for the pop-up event included McMullen, KTVU reporter Betty Yu, Amy Dornbusch, Zornitza Stefanova, Jessica Lonergan, Matt Lituchy and Carmen Legarda.
Since its founding in 1993 by ESPN and the late NCAA coach Jim Valvano, the V Foundation has funded over $353 million in innovative cancer research grants nationwide. Because the V Foundation has an endowment to cover administrative expenses, donors can be assured that 100% of direct donations is awarded to the vital cancer research and programs that are accelerating our victory over cancer.
