Celebrate 40 years of Tsar Nicoulai Caviar at The Ferry Building on Saturday, July 20, 2024.
Celebrated annually on July 18th, National Caviar Day is dedicated to the enjoyment and appreciation of this luxurious delicacy. This year’s holiday coincides with the 40th anniversary of San Francisco’s very own Tsar Nicoulai Caviar. In honor of the holiday, Tsar Nicoulai will be throwing a soirée on Saturday July 20th at the San Francisco Ferry Building.
Indulge in Tsar Nicoulai’s delectable offerings while mingling with fellow caviar lovers. This festive evening will include bites from local purveyors including Aphotic Restaurant—offering a caviar-stuffed olive martini—Top Chef alum Tu David Phu, Hog Island Oyster, Daily Driver, Honey+Brie, MAC Bbq, Vacanza Romana, Osito, and One65. These bites will be complemented by exceptional wines from Domaine Carneros, Nomadica, St. Supery, Grgich Hills Estate, and Lichen Estate. Entertainment for the evening will include soundscapes curated by DJ Jasmin, and performances by violinist Shaina Evoniuk, accompanied by The Dahlias.
The Bay Area’s pioneers of sustainable caviar, Tsar Nicoulai Caviar has hand-crafted world-renowned, small-batch artisanal caviar from 100% American White Sturgeon. Their sturgeon are raised without antibiotics, growth hormones, GMOs, or synthetic preservatives. Tsar Nicolai is dedicated to upholding and advancing the highest levels of sustainability, practicing sustainable aquaculture and upcycling tank water to grow aquaponic veggies and greens.
A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will benefit UC Davis Aquaculture, whose mission is to provide science-based support for California’s aquaculture farms.
