PARCA Auxiliary Welcomes Guests to St. Tropez-Themed Bash for Annual Benefit

On May 15 over 300 guests gathered in Hillsborough to show their support for PARCA (Partners and Advocates for Remarkable Children and Adults) at their 35th annual Auxiliary luncheon and fashion show. This year’s theme was PARCA St. Tropez: Santé to 35 Years, and celebrants arrived to find a private residence transformed into a fabulous St. Tropez beach club, where they were welcomed with a gourmet lunch from Charlie Parker Provisions.

The day’s main event was the fashion show, highlighting the work of Madrid-born designer  Alejandra Alonso Rojas, who wowed the crowd with her signature blend of sophistication and modern, casual luxury. The show also featured a curated selection of ready-to-wear pieces by local fashion celebrities Sam and Gloria Malouf of Sam Malouf Authentic Luxury. As a bonus, Gloria Malouf was recognized as PARCA Auxiliary’s Sustainer of the Year for her ongoing support of the organization.

Partygoers also enjoyed an exciting live auction, a raffle and a chance to hear from one of the many clients whose lives have been changed by PARCA’s programs. Since 1988, the PARCA Auxiliary has provided financial support to PARCA to sustain its vital work offering programs and services that benefit developmentally disabled individuals and their families in the Bay Area. To date, the PARCA Auxiliary is proud to have raised over $5.5 Million for PARCA.
