Larkin Street’s Paving the Way Gala was held at the Four Seasons Hotel on April 27th. Celebrating 40 years, the evening was a gathering filled with laughter, unity, and a renewed commitment to ending youth homelessness. Over $1.2 million—a testament to the huge success of the evening.
The highlights of the night included the inspiring words of Tomiquia Moss, who was appointed by Governor Gavin Newsom as Secretary of Business, Consumer Services, and Housing Agency as well as Mayor London Breed declaring April 27 as “Larkin Street Youth Day”.
Maryam Muduroglu, was honored as an esteemed Anne B. Stanton Award recipient. This award, named after a cherished Larkin Street Executive Director, is given to those who exemplify fierce commitment and impactful dedication to the work to end youth homelessness.
