New bloom in the Rose City
Rising above the Rose City’s historic downtown district, the new Block 216 tower has transformed the city skyline. With thirty-five floors, the $600 million project is one of the city’s most luxurious hotels, and it began welcoming guests to The Ritz-Carlton, Portland in October 2023. Its sleek, glass exterior wows with reflections of the surrounding green hills and neighboring buildings, shining like a beacon of change. Covering a full city block, the 35-story, 251-room hotel is the first Ritz-Carlton property in the Pacific Northwest. Footprints range from 1,100 to 4,000 square feet, including Penthouses on the 32nd through 35th floors.
