The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco hosts An Elegant Evening in the Court of Honor at the Legion of Honor

An Elegant Evening in the Court of Honor— now the most highly anticipated holiday party in San Francisco— ​ was held on Tuesday night, December 12, 2023 at the Legion of Honor, and this black-tie event did not disappoint! Led by Honorary Gala Chair Diane B. Wilsey, this fundraising event supports exhibition and educational programming at both the de Young and the Legion of Honor museums.

Guests reconnected with friends during the festive cocktail reception and took advantage of exclusive access to the magnificent, must-see Botticelli Drawings exhibition. Then all 225 guests stepped into the tent to join Gala Co-Chairs Bakari Adams, Jack Calhoun, Stanlee Gatti, Lorna Meyer Calas, Carl Pascarella, Brenda Wright, and Lisa Zanze under the stars to savor a multi-course dinner by McCalls Catering & Events, with wines expertly paired to each course by wine sponsor Rodney Strong Vineyards. Stanlee R. Gatti Designs decked the halls and tables in an elegant raspberry and gold theme. Famed New York City band, The Bob Hardwick Sound, drew revelers to the dance floor for a night of dancing!
