On September 18th, ODC Theatre hosted their first annual FREE Industry Night in their B. Way Theater located in San Francisco’s Mission District. The event was designed exclusively for top event vendors, performers and professionals to unleash their creativity, forge connections and gather inspiration for upcoming events. ODC’s Director of Outreach and Strategic Partnerships, Karii Rurup-Coleman orchestrated and produced the event in order to build community through collaboration and connection, leaving competition to the wayside. ODC Theater opened their doors, promoting their new event rentals program now available for the public (odc.dance/rentals). All vendors and performers were given complimentary spaces and platforms to show off their talents, skills, businesses and products. From BMW San Francisco giving test rides in their new electric model, to LUXGROOM mobile barbershop giving free haircuts, to Modern Mixologist serving ODC themed cocktails, to Brad Barton Reality Thief performing magic and illusion on stage. This was a magical and celebratory evening designed to authentically build bridges while coming together in the heart of San Francisco, keeping small businesses and the entertainment industry thriving.
