Bay Area society came dressed to the nines to celebrate Edward Winger’s ‘Another Trip Around the Sun Birthday Ball’ in the glamorously decorated Veranda Ballroom at the Four Seasons hotel in San Francisco.
Guests arrived to a pre-dinner cocktail reception where they noshed on Peking duck spring rolls and ahi tuna poke bites and sipped on festive libations while posing for fun animated flip books from ‘A Flying Camera’ photo booths (that guests took home as a souvenir of the night) and photos were snapped of guest’s with the birthday boy Edward Winger and Aubrey Brewster – who hosted the evening’s jocund fête.
As the doors swung open to the Four Seasons’ Veranda ballroom, partygoers’ breaths were taken away by the the elegantly clad tables set in chic French blue velvet tablecloths and vibrant towering floral arrangements in the birthday boy’s favorite autumnal hues of burgundy, orange and blues.
The menu was charming, featuring an adorable baby picture of the birthday boy holding a cigar in one hand and a bourbon Manhattan with an orange twist in the other.
Guests got their grooves on and danced the night away to nostalgic disco hits from the 70’s to the 2000’s, spun by renowned DJ and morning radio personality Billy Vidal of 96.5 KOIT. To keep guest’s energy up for the dance floor, a table of hot Kobe beef sliders and crispy French fries was wheeled in for a dance-floor-side late night snack, so guests wouldn’t miss a beat.
