The Order of Malta Clinic of Northern California recently convened donors, supporters, and friends to celebrate the Clinic’s 15th year of service to the Bay Area’s uninsured community. The gathering also officially kicked-off fundraising efforts for the Clinic’s flagship event, the Champions Gala, which raises vital funds for the Clinic’s primary and specialty health care services.
The Celebrating Friendship kick-off event was hosted at the home of John and Sally Ann McInerney, who welcomed more than 65 guests, including President of John Muir Health Foundation, Nevin Kessler, and San Francisco residents Carol and Dixon Doll, Cristina and Robert Morris, and Kevin and Anne Ryan. Guests came from as far away as Santa Barbara and Monterey County, including Ken & Mary Olsen and Dr. Ken and Elizabeth Bernard. During the program, Tim McInerney and fellow Board member Sara Cumbelich conveyed messages of optimism and excitement as the Clinic moves forward with its long-awaited expansion of the current Clinic, increasing capacity from 5,000 patient visits per year to more than 10,000.
