Hailed as one of the most anticipated social events of the season, Crescendo celebrated its 17th year bringing together Bay Area arts supporters, leaders, and artists to benefit the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus. This year at the Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco, in addition to exclusive performances from the singing members, SFGMC presented three prestigious awards— San Francisco Mayor London Breed received the inaugural Nancy Pelosi Ally Award (formerly the Ally Award); Legendary Olympic figure skater Brian Boitano was honored with the Vanguard Award for the impact he has made on the LGBTQ+ community and in the skating world; and Tribal Leader Greg Sarris and the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria was honored with the Visionary Award. Opening remarks were given by Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi.
