On Friday, May 5, 2023, the JDRF Northern California Chapter hosted their annual Tee to Table event and raised more than $1.37 million for type 1 diabetes (T1D). The event was celebrated with a Kentucky Derby: Race for a Cure theme and brought together prominent business leaders and families from around the Bay Area and beyond to network and fundraise at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay. The JDRF Tee to Table featured a golf scramble on the Ocean Course and a 24-person round-robin tennis tournament, followed by cocktails, a gourmet dinner, a tribute to JDRF Northern California Advocates, a spectacular live auction, a Fund A Cure program, and dancing to the popular Bay Area cover band Hip Service.
